71st National Film Awards winners: Read on to know who all won the big honours.
The 71st National Film Awards winners have been announced. Everyone was eagerly waiting to know who has bagged the big honours this year. The National Film Awards ceremony live-streamed on DD News channel and also on its YouTube channel at 6 PM IST. This time, we had so many amazing films like Animal, Jawan, 12th Fail, Sam Bahadur, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and many more. We have had some brilliant performances on the big screen and even on OTT. There is a lot of tough competition today. The winners have been finally announced and the big news is that Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey have shared National Award for Best Actor. Interestingly, Rani Mukerji has been honoured with the prestigious Best Actress award.
Shah Rukh Khan has won the Best Actor in a leading role award for his performance in Jawan. The film is directed by Atlee and has done an amazing job at the box office as well. The superstar is sharing the Best Actor award with Vikrant Massey. Vikrant has also bagged the Best Actor award for his performance in 12th Fail. Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 12th Fail has won the Best Feature Film Award. This is a big story in entertainment news.
Rani Mukerji has won the Best Actress in a leading role award for Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway. The movie is based on a true story of Sagarika Chakraborty. The actress brought tears to eyes with her performance in the film. Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal won two awards. Sachin Sudhakaran and Hariharan Muralidharan have won for Best Sound Design. The film has also won the Best Music Direction Award. It has also earned a special mention for its Re-recording Mixer.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is also shinning at the National awards. Vaibhavi Merchant has won the Best Choreography Award for the film. The movie has won the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment Award. Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur has won the Best Makeup and Best Costume Designer Awards. It has also won a third award. Sam Bahadur won the Award for Best Film Promoting National, Social and Environmental Values.
Kathal: A Jackfruit Mystery wins the Best Hindi Film award in the Feature Films category. The film features Sanya Malhotra in a lead role. Flowering Man (Hindi) wins Best Non-Feature Film Award. God Vulture and Human wins Best Documentary in the Non-Feature Films category. Utpal Dutta (Assamese) wins the Best Film Critic award.
Shilpa Rao has won the Best Female Playback Singer Award for the Chaleya song from Jawan while PVN S Rohith has won in the Best Male Playback Singer category for Premisthunna song. Urvashi and Janki Bodiwala have shared the Best Actress in a Supporting Role Award for Ullozhukku and Vash respectively. The Best Actor in a Supporting Role Award is shared by Vijayaraghavan for Pookaalam and Muthupettai Somu Bhaskar for Parking.
Sudipto Sen has won the Best Direction Award for Adah Sharma starrer The Kerala Story. Naal 2 won the Best Children’s Film Award. Sukriti Veni Bandreddi, Kabir Khandare, Treesha Thosar, Shrinivas Pokale, Bhargav Jagtap won the Best Child Artist Award. Hanu-Man has won the Best Film in AVGC and the Best Action Direction (Stunt Choreography).
Malayalam film, Pookaalam has won the Best Editing Award. Kasarla Shyam has won the Best Lyrics Award for Balagam. Deepak Kingrani has won the Award for dialogue writing in the Best Screenplay category for Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai.
