Operation Sindoor continues, path to peace & prosperity runs through strength: PM Modi in Lok Sabha

India has full faith in its Armed Forces, their courage, and their capabilities, PM Narendra Modi said in a speical disussion in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. The Indian Forces successfully destroyed terror infrastructure across the border, navigating and destroying several locations never accessed before, said the PM. India has proven that nuclear blackmailing does not work anymore, he said.

Here are highlights from the Prime Minister’s July 29 speech in Parliament:

  • It was during Operation Sindoor that the world acknowledged India’s self-reliant (‘Atmanirbhar’) strength and capabilities
  • India’s tri-forces and the synergy between them proved their mettle across the border
  • India has set a new normal
  • Miscreants and terrorists know now clearly that India will cross borders and punish them
  • It is misfortune that the Armed Forces’ courage saw no support from the Congress
  • India’s standing (against terrorism) has always been clear
  • During Operation Sindoor, our target was set and clear: To destroy terrorism epicentres and related infrastructure
  • Our forces achieved all their goals 100 per cent
  • Some people have a habit of forgetting quite conveniently
  • Today, Pakistan knows that India’s every response is stronger than the last
  • Pak also knows that, if needed, India can go to any extent today

Operation Sindoor is still on: PM Modi

  • Operation Sindoor continues
  • Congress has given a clean chit to Pakistan
  • The nation is shocked
  • They (Opposition) have the audacity to ask for proof that terrorists were from Pakistan
  • Operation Sindoor is the proof of the empowerment of the nation’s Armed Forces over the past decade
  • The Congress used to look for opportunities in every single defence deal
  • Our Armed Forces waited patiently for decades to receive modern equipment
  • Many reforms have taken place for the first time in Independent India
  • I congratulate the tri-forces for fully supporting and welcoming these reforms
  • Government has opened doors to the private sector in the defence sector
  • ‘Make in India’ in defence was not just a slogan
  • India is progressing in ‘Make in India’ in defence at a fast pace

Path to peace and prosperity runs through strength: PM Modi

  • We want peace and prosperity
  • The path to peace and prosperity runs through strength
