Samsung and Videotex International Pvt. Ltd. have announced a strategic partnership to locally manufacture Smart TVs powered by Tizen OS at Videotex’s two state-of-the-art manufacturing units in Greater Noida. According to the official release, this collaboration will deliver smarter, more intuitive viewing experiences to Indian consumers while reinforcing the “Make in India” ecosystem.
The upcoming range of TVs powered by Samsung Tizen OS will be available in multiple screen sizes (from 32” to 75”) and formats, including HD, FHD, UHD/4K, QLED, and MiniLED. With Samsung Tizen OS, consumers will enjoy the advanced content discovery, Samsung TV Plus for FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV) channel service, Samsung’s voice assistant Bixby, and seamless multi-device connectivity through SmartThings.
