OPPO Reno 14 5G Diwali Edition Launched in India: In a festive move ahead of Diwali, smartphone maker OPPO has launched the Reno14 5G Diwali Edition in India under Rs 40,000. What makes it different from others? The device features India-first heat-sensitive colour-changing technology and a culturally inspired mandala design.

The Diwali Edition of the Reno14 features an aerospace-grade aluminium frame, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, and all-around armour architecture with Sponge Bionic cushioning. It has a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,200nits brightness, and a 93 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The phone is 7.42mm thin and weighs 187 grams, and comes with IP66, IP68 and IP69 certifications.

The Reno 14 features a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens (3.5x optical zoom), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP selfie camera. Additionally, the company says it is powered by Oppo’s most advanced HyperTone imaging engine and has features like AI Recompose, AI Best Face, AI Perfect Shot, AI Eraser, and AI Reflection Remover.

Under the hood, the Reno14 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 and runs on ColorOS 15. According to the company, it delivers up to 20 per cent better performance and 30 per cent improved power efficiency.
