Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have separated after 19 years of marriage, People reports.
The Australian actress, 58, and country singer, 57, married in 2006 and share two daughters, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14.
“Nicole’s sister [Antonia] has been a rock and the entire Kidman family has come together to support one another,” a source tells the US publication, adding that the decision to separate came from Urban.
“[Kidman] didn’t want this. She has been fighting to save the marriage.”
The separation was first reported by TMZ, with sources claiming the stars have been living apart since the beginning of the Northern Hemisphere summer.
It’s reported Urban moved out of the family home in Nashville, with Kidman and their daughters remaining.

“What the sources are saying is that she is doing her best to keep stability while Keith is in a different home,” entertainment reporter Segun Oduolowu said on Today this morning.
The pair’s last joint public appearance was in June, at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup match between Los Angeles Football Club and Esperance de Tunis in Nashville.
Kidman and Urban first met in 2005 at the annual G’Day USA gala in Los Angeles.
The stars were introduced at the gala, and while Urban was given the Oscar winner’s number, it took him several months to get up the courage to call her.

“I had it in my pocket for a while. I kept looking at it thinking, ‘If I call this number, she’s going to answer. I don’t know what [to] say’,” he told Andrew Denton in 2018.
The Parallel Lines singer admitted that he thought Kidman was “way out of my league.”
“I wasn’t in a very healthy place in my life. I’d never have thought she’d see anything in a guy like me,” he continued.
“But at some point I plucked up the courage to call those numbers and she answered, and we started talking and we talked and talked and talked and talked and it was effortless.”

Speaking to Vanity Fair in 2007, Kidman said they were both “very lonely people” and “a mixture of frightened and brave” when they were introduced at the gala.
“I would probably say that two very lonely people managed to meet at a time when they could open themselves to each other,” she said.

A year after that first meeting, they tied the knot in Manly, Sydney.

Kidman was previously married to Hollywood actor Tom Cruise.
During the actors’ more than a decade-long marriage, they adopted two children together: daughter Isabella Jane and son Connor Anthony.
But in 2001, they decided to call it quits after 11 years. Cruise filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences”.

Kidman had just come out of a relationship with musician Lenny Kravitz when she met Urban four years later.
They went on to have a joyous relationship that spanned almost 20 years.
Throughout their relationship, the couple never shied away from public displays of affection on the red carpet and during awards ceremonies.
In May, Urban gave a heartfelt shoutout to his wife while on stage accepting the ACM Triple Crown Award at the Academy of Country Music Awards.
“I want to thank the ACM Academy for this and my wife, Nicole Mary, who’s here tonight,” he said, referring to his wife by her first and second name.

In June, Kidman shared a tribute to Urban on Instagram to mark their 19th wedding anniversary, writing, “Happy Anniversary Baby ❤️ @KeithUrban.”
