Saregama Q2 net profit marginally lower at Rs 44 crore

Saregama, part of the RPSG Group, reported a 2% yoy decline in net profit to Rs 44 crore for the quarter ended September compared to the same quarter of the previous fiscal.

Revenue from operations declined 5% to Rs. 230 crore, while adjusted EBITDA remained flat Rs 85 crore. The board declared an interim dividend of Rs. 4.50 per share (450% on the face value of Re. 1 each).

During the quarter, the company expanded its music portfolio with film releases including the Tamil album Idli Kadai featuring Dhanush, the Bengali album Dhumketu, and Malayalam album Sahasam. In non-film music, releases included Badshah’s chartbuster Kokaina and Honey Singh’s Mashooqa. Saregama rolled out more than 1,500 film and non-film tracks across nine languages.

The live events business gained momentum with ongoing shows from Diljit Dosanjh’s Aura Tour and the second edition of Disco Dancer in Dubai, reinforcing the company’s push into premium experiential music IP.

Saregama partnered with brands such as Hero, Flipkart, Myntra, Titan, L’Oréal, NPCI and Britannia for integrated campaigns leveraging its music and IP assets. Its catalogue was also featured on Amazon’s Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle and Netflix’s Dining with the Kapoors.


The company onboarded 18 new artistes during the quarter, taking the total to more than 230 with a cumulative follower base exceeding 200 million. Its digital footprint across YouTube, Instagram and Facebook reached 400 million followers and subscribers.Avarna Jain, Vice Chairperson, Saregama India, said, “H1 FY26 remained steady, reflecting overall industry conditions, and the outlook for the second half remains strong with several key projects and partnerships lined up. The company is in a strong position with its aggressive investment strategy coupled with diversifying business segments.”
