Air India Express on Sunday, August 10, launched its “Freedom Sale,” offering discounted fares on 5 million seats across its domestic and international network.
The sale is open on the airline’s website and mobile app, and will be available through all major booking channels until 15 August 2025.

Under this offer, domestic fares start from ₹1,279 and international fares from ₹4,279. Travel dates covered by the sale range from 19 August 2025 to 31 March 2026, coinciding with India’s festive season, including Onam, Durga Puja, Deepawali, and Christmas.
Air India Express is offering various fare categories, including “Xpress Lite,” a zero check-in baggage option available only on the airline’s website, starting from ₹1,279 for domestic and ₹4,279 for international flights. “Xpress Value” fares, which include standard check-in baggage allowances, start from ₹1,379 for domestic and ₹4,479 for international flights.
The airline’s premium cabin option, “Xpress Biz,” offers a seat pitch of up to 58 inches and is now available on more than 40 new aircraft.
Loyalty programme members will receive additional benefits, including a 25% discount on Xpress Biz fares and a 20% discount on additional baggage, hot meals, seat selection, priority services, and upgrades.
Special fares continue to be available for students, senior citizens, armed forces personnel, and their dependents.
