BEML Q1 Results: Net loss narrows to Rs 64 crore; revenue flat at Rs 634 crore

BEML Q1 FY26 Results: BEML Ltd, the state-run heavy equipment maker, trimmed its losses in the first quarter of FY26, even as top-line growth remained stagnant.

The company reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 64.11 crore for the three months ended June, compared to Rs 70.47 crore in the same period last year. Total revenue came in at Rs 634 crore, nearly flat on a year-on-year basis.

Operational performance showed a marginal improvement, with EBITDA loss narrowing slightly to Rs 49 crore from Rs 50 crore a year ago. Though losses persist, the numbers suggest early signs of stability in a tough macro environment.

BEML, which supplies equipment to sectors such as defence, rail, and mining, has been working to improve cost efficiency and operational resilience. However, the lack of revenue momentum could remain a concern unless order inflows pick up meaningfully in the quarters ahead.

Shares of BEML were trading 2.28 per cent higher on Monday at Rs 3947.20.

This is a developing story….
