Bull run on D-Street: Hawkish RBI action helps Nifty reclaim 25,000 as rate-sensitive stocks cheer repo, CRR moves

Indian indices rallied significantly in Friday’s trade after the RBI’s rate cut move to the tune of 50 basis points. At the close, Nifty50 settled above 25,003.05,up 1.02 per cent or 252.15, while the Sensex settled higher by 0.92 per cent or 746.95 at 82,188.99.

Meanwhile, the Bank Nifty after RBI’s good enough liquidity push through CRR rate cut after marking an all-time high ended 1.47 per cent higher at 56,578.4.
