Embassy Developments, a major real estate developer, on Monday signed a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) for a land parcel of approximately 17.9 acres in Whitefield, Bengaluru.
The upcoming project will be a premium residential community with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of around Rs 1,600 crore.
Located just off Whitefield Main Road, the development will benefit from the area’s strong social and physical infrastructure. Hospitals, schools, banks, technology parks, and shopping malls are key amenities near the project.
Connectivity to the area is expected to improve further with infrastructure developments such as the Peripheral Ring Road (PRR), Satellite Town Ring Road (STRR), and the newly launched Metro Purple Line, the real developer said.

Virwani further said that as a predominantly end-user-driven micro-market, it has shown greater resilience supported by sustained demand from Bengaluru’s professional workforce and ongoing infrastructure growth.
“While we have a secured launch pipeline of 10 projects for FY2026 with an expected GDV of over Rs 22,000 crore, this deal reinforces our commitment to building a robust future pipeline and we are actively exploring new opportunities across key markets,” Virwani said.
Spanning about 1.6 million square feet of saleable area, the project will include approximately 1,000 thoughtfully designed apartments. The residential units will be offered in 2, 2.5, and 3 BHK configurations, catering primarily to young professionals working in the IT and ITeS sectors.
The project is expected to be launched in the financial year 2027.
