First Trade: Nifty opens weak by 98 points; IT stocks top laggard

Indian equities in Thursday’s session (May 22, 2025) amid sector rotation opened lower. At the opening bell, Nifty50 started trade lower by 98 points – hovering near 24,700 levels.
