There’s one product collaboration Celeste Barber continues to refuse, despite repeated requests that could have earned her a fortune.
“Weight loss stuff. People come at me all the time but I always say I don’t support any products that make women feel they need to look a certain way to feel a certain way,” the Aussie comedian and social media superstar told nine.com.au.
“Some people think that that’s what I’ll do, but I won’t.”
“I do wonder now, with Ozempic and everything, if that weight loss stuff is still as big as it was.
“I would be so rich if I said yes to more things, but if they don’t align with me, I can’t do it.
“I worked really hard for my audience. I love my ladies. I love them, and they trust me and I love entertaining them, and I would never take that for granted.
“I’m not an influencer.”

She may not consider herself an influencer in the true sense of the word, but that simply serves to make her influence even more compelling.
Which is why her latest collaboration is already flying of supermarket shelves.
Barber, 43, and her business partner Claire Greaves have launched an exclusive cosmetics line called Booie Beauty, available exclusively at Woolworths supermarkets across the country.
The product range has debuted with 10 everyday makeup essentials, including a BB Cream for glowy skin, a tubing mascara designed not to budge and a gloss for delicious lips.
The BB Cream is Barber’s way of sorting through the noise of the many and varied skin products that are confusing to many Australians.
“There’s a BB cream, there’s a CC cream and then there’s a CB cream. I said, ‘Well, they’re so stupid.’
“Hence why I’m in the makeup industry now, because everyone needs to chill and calm down. Calm down with the eleventy billion products that all do the same thing.”
The Booie range is made up of products Barber would use to get her “out the door in five minutes”.
Her BB Cream aims to include everything an individual would need in one simple product.
“It’s got collagen … it’s got vitamin E, it’s also got an SPF 30 in there, so it’s packed full with skincare ingredients, but it’s also makeup, it’s got that tint as well,” she says.
That product comes in a range of shades and sells for $45.

Then there’s a hydrating tinted illuminator called Bloody Delicious for $39 and the Bam! Bam! Bam! lip, eye and cheek tint sells for $22.
The range includes one black mascara, priced at $31, that Barber says will “change your life”.
Her Steady On eyeliner is $29 and the Outside the Lines eyeshadow stick is $31.
Bring Back the Bush eyebrow tint and gel sells for $21, and Dot to Dot eyebrow pencils are $28.
And for the lips, the Where The Hell is My…? tinted lip balm is $28 and her Pucker Up tinted lip gloss is $28.
Yes, they are a little pricey for supermarket cosmetics, but they are something Woolies shoppers will likely stock up on whenever they are on special.
”I know for me, grocery shopping, it’s a bit of a moment to yourself,” Barber says.

“I would stand in the magazine aisle and just flick through magazines. Now, you go and get your makeup.
“It’s a little bit meditative for me. It can be. You put your earpods in and you’re in your own world and you get everything you need.”
She said creating the product line was “super fun”: “I knew what I wanted and it was like all different things that I wanted to kind of bring together to make each product.”
Now she’s a world-famous celebrity who is often on tour and in need of regular “glam squad” sessions, Barber even has her glam squad use Booie Beauty products.

And there are even more products in the pipeline.
Barber is hoping to see Booie Beauty products made available in all Woolworths stores in 2026.
”You better believe I’ll be hitting up Mildura Woolworths and saying, ‘G’day’. Yeah, I’m excited for that.”
