Ola Electric unveiled its new flagship electric scooter, the S1 Pro Sport, at the Sankalp event held at its Tamil Nadu factory on the eve of Independence Day. Priced at Rs 1,49,999 (ex-showroom, introductory), the scooter is positioned as the sportiest derivative of the S1 range and introduces several first-in-segment features, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) on an electric scooter. Reservations are open for Rs 999, with deliveries scheduled to begin in January 2026.
Sporty Design and Features
The S1 Pro Sport carries a sharper, aerodynamically enhanced design, equipped with a small windscreen, lightweight carbon fibre front fender and grab rail. Ola has also upgraded the seat with a scooped-out design and improved cushioning for added comfort. The scooter continues with all-LED lighting but now features a redesigned DRL for better visibility.
First-Ever ADAS on an E-Scooter
The highlight is Ola’s ADAS suite, offering collision warnings, blind spot alerts, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition and speed alerts. A front-mounted camera acts as both a dashcam and a theft-alert system while also enabling journey recordings. The updated UI includes voice assistant support, customizable moods, predictive maintenance, personalised ride insights, and smart charging options.
Performance and Battery
The scooter debuts Ola’s in-house developed 13 kW ferrite motor, capable of producing 16 kW peak power and 71 Nm torque while reducing reliance on rare earth elements. It is paired with a 5.2 kWh battery pack using 4680 cells, delivering a top speed of 152 kmph, 0–40 kmph in 2 seconds, and a claimed range of 320 km (IDC).
Hardware and Comfort
The S1 Pro Sport is suspended on telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear, with disc brakes on both ends. It rides on 14-inch alloy wheels with wide-profile tyres, has a seat height of 791 mm, and provides 34 litres of underseat storage.
Price Updates Across Ola Line-Up
With the introduction of 4680 cells, Ola has revised prices across its portfolio. The S1 Pro+ 5.2 kWh now retails at Rs 1,69,999, while the Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh is priced at Rs 1,89,999 (ex-showroom). Both models are available with a limited Rs 10,000 discount until August 17, and deliveries will begin from Navratri.
