‘One of the best performances of my life’: Actress hits back after Emmys snub

American actress Anna Camp has shared a somewhat relatable – and slightly humourous – response, after being snubbed in the 2025 Emmy Award nominations list.

The star, 42, known for films including Pitch Perfect and shows like True Blood, shared a picture of herself looking confused in the hit series You and lamented missing out on a nod.

In her post, Camp said she “gave one of the best performances of my life” when she portrayed twins Maddie and Reagan Lockwood in season five of the show.

In a post to her one million followers, she wrote: .”Me reading about the nominations this morning knowing I gave one of the best performances of my life.”

“While also trying to be happy for everyone and while also remembering I vowed to stop drinking during the week.”

One follower commented underneath: “ANNA 😭 you’re so real for this.”

Another added, cheering her up: “The best performance I’ve ever seen I literally had to google if there were two of you! Don’t let an award value who you are as an actress because YOU did absolutely amazing and so many people saw it!”

Categories at the Emmys include Outstanding supporting actress in a drama series, which the likes of Severance’s Patricia Arquette and The White Lotus’ Aimee Lou Wood have been nominated for.

Other stars up for an Emmy this year include Jason Isaacs, James Marsden, Walton Goggins and Adam Brody.
