PM Kisan 20th Instalment: Beneficiary farmers should complete to these tasks to receive payment without delay, says government

The 19th instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was released on February 24. Now, farmers across India are waiting for the 20th instalment. Before the next instalment is disbursed, the government has advised farmers to complete a few important tasks to ensure that the Rs 2,000 payment is credited to their bank accounts without any delays or issues.

“To avail the benefits of 20th instalment of PM Kisan Farmers must complete the given mandates,” the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare said.

Here are the 5 key tasks farmers should complete before the 20th instalment is released:

Complete your e-KYC

If you have not done your e-KYC yet, complete it immediately. This can be done online by visiting the official PM Kisan website.

Ensure your bank account is linked with Aadhaar

Farmers make sure the bank account they have registered under the scheme is linked with your Aadhaar card. To verify this, visit your bank and If it is not linked, get it done as soon as possible to avoid payment issues.

Bank account details

They (farmers) should review their submitted bank account number, IFSC code, and other details for accuracy and also, confirm that the account is still active.

If your bank account has been closed, update your new account details through the ‘Know Your Status’ section on the PM Kisan website.

Land records issues

If there are any discrepancies or pending issues in your land ownership documents, resolve them immediately. Inaccurate or incomplete land records can prevent your instalment from being processed, according to the government.

Mobile Number update

If the mobile number registered under the scheme is no longer active, update it on the PM Kisan website. An active number is important for receiving OTP verification and payment notifications.

The government shared that over Rs 3.68 lakh crore has already been distributed under this scheme to more than 11 crore beneficiary farmers across India.
