Realme P4 Series Launched: Realme on Wednesday, August 20, launched its much-awaited Realme P4 series in India at a price of under Rs 20,000. The series includes two smartphones – Realme P4 and Realme P4 Pro. From dual-chip powered performance, pro-grade imaging to cinematic display, this smartphone is an all-rounder, the company said.
Some of the key features of the newly launched series include a Hyper Vision AI chip, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, dual 50MP AI cameras, a 144Hz Hyperglow AMOLED display, and a 7000mAh Titan battery.
Commenting on the occasion, Francis Wong, Chief Marketing Officer, Realme India, said, “The realme P4 Series marks our bold return to the e-commerce battlefield.”
“realme is proud to pioneer the mass adoption of Dual-Chip architecture, a technology once reserved for flagships. Designed exclusively for India, the P4 Pro and P4 don’t just compete—they surpass every rival and it is indeed the best smartphone under 20K,” he added.
Realme P4, Realme P4 Pro: Display
The Realme P4 Pro features a 144Hz Hyperglow AMOLED 4D Curve+ display with 6500nits peak brightness. It comes with HDR10+ certification, 1.07 billion colours, and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. According to the company, its 144Hz refresh rate is 20 percent smoother than the standard 120Hz display.
The Realme P4 features a 6.77-inch FHD+ Hyperglow AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. It offers up to 4500nits of local peak brightness.
Realme P4, Realme P4 Pro: Processor
The Realme P4 Pro combines the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 with the dedicated Hyper Vision AI chipset co-developed with Pixelworks. This architecture delivers unmatched performance for multitasking, high-end gaming, and AI-driven applications, said the company.
The Realme P4 leverages a similar dual-chip approach, pairing the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G with a dedicated Pixelworks GPU.
Realme P4, Realme P4 Pro: Battery
The Realme P4 Pro is India’s slimmest and lightest smartphone in its segment with a 7000mAh battery at 7.68mm thickness, the company claimed. It is capable of delivering up to 8+ hours of BGMI gameplay at 90FPS, it added.
The Realme P4 also houses the same 7000mAh Titan Battery, delivering up to 11 hours of uninterrupted BGMI gameplay. Supported by 80W Ultra Charge, it powers up to 50 per cent in just 25 minutes, Realme said in the official release.
Realme P4, Realme P4 Pro: Camera
The Realme P4 Pro features dual 50MP AI cameras on both the front and rear. Its flagship-grade 50MP Sony IMX896 rear sensor with OIS captures crisp portraits, low-light shots, and nightscapes with professional clarity, while the 50MP OV50D front camera delivers sharp, detailed selfies and vlogs, said the company. It supports dual 4K 60FPS video recording on both lenses.
While the Realme P4 pairs a versatile 50MP primary camera with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The selfie camera is a 16MP Sony IMX480.
Realme P4, Realme P4 Pro: Price and Availability
The Realme P4 Pro will be available in three storage variants: 8GB+128GB at Rs 19,999, 8GB+256GB at Rs 21,999, and 12GB+256GB at Rs 23,999. Consumers can access the biggest launch offer exclusively on 27th August between 12 Noon and midnight, with the first sale beginning at 12 Noon the same day, the company informed.
The Realme P4 will also be available in three variants: 6GB+128GB at Rs 14,999, 8GB+128GB at Rs 15,999, and 8GB+256GB at Rs 17,999. An Early Bird Sale is scheduled for 20th August between 6 and 10 PM, while the first sale goes live on 25th August at 12 Noon, the company said. Both smartphones will be sold via Flipkart, Realme’s official website, and mainline stores nationwide.
