Russia-Ukraine War Update: Russia reportedly said on Sunday that several of its aircraft were on fire after an alleged “large-scale” Ukrainian drone attack, according to news agency AFP.  Â
Russia said that the Ukrainian drone attack targeted four of its airbases.Â
Moscow also said that 40 of Russian aircraft were targeted by what was reportedly being dubbed one of Kyiv’s largest operation amidsts the ongoing war between the two countries till date.

Russia’s defence ministry took to microblogging platform Telegram to state that the drone attack targeted the following areas:
- Murmansk
- Irkutsk
- Ivanovo
- Ryazan
- Amur
