Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy M36 5G in India on June 27, expanding its popular Galaxy M series lineup with a feature-rich smartphone tailored for the modern, tech-savvy Indian consumer. The brand, which holds the title of India’s largest consumer electronics company, is promising a device that blends sleek design with powerful AI features and robust performance—at a price under Rs 20,000.
Aimed at young users, the Galaxy M36 5G will come equipped with ‘Circle to Search with Google’, a next-gen AI tool co-developed with Google that allows users to search anything on screen simply by circling it. It supports seamless search experiences across images, texts, and music—further expanding Samsung’s AI push in the mid-range segment. The device also integrates Google’s Gemini AI features, enhancing everyday usability and productivity.
At just 7.7mm slim, the Galaxy M36 5G boasts Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for added durability and a premium in-hand feel. It will be available in three vibrant colours: Velvet Black, Serene Green, and Orange Haze.
Camera performance also gets a major boost with a 50MP OIS triple-camera setup designed to deliver crisp images and stable videos. The device’s Auto Night Mode promises brighter, clearer low-light photos, while users will be able to shoot 4K videos using both front and rear cameras, making it a strong contender for content creators.
The Galaxy M36 5G will be manufactured in India as part of Samsung’s commitment to the local market and is expected to offer industry-leading specifications at an affordable price point.
With this launch, Samsung continues its focus on democratizing mobile AI and delivering flagship-like experiences to budget-conscious consumers.
