Sansera Engineering pacts Rs 160 crore contract with Airbus; stock surges over 1%

Stock to track, Sansera Engineering shares in focus: Sansera Engineering on Tuesday said that it entered into a long-term contract with Airbus Defence and Space for the manufacture, supply, and support of the Airborne Intensive Care Transport Module (ICTM). The deal is valued at approximately Rs 1,60 crore (USD 18.8 million).

Under the agreement, Sansera will handle precision machining and structural assembly of the ICTM units for Airbus’s light and medium transport aircraft programs.

It also supports the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative by enhancing domestic aerospace manufacturing capabilities.”

The ICTM is a specialised airborne medical evacuation system designed to transport patients. This marks the first time Airbus has selected an Indian supplier for the manufacturing of the ICTM kit.

Sansera Engieering Stock Update

On Tuesday, shares of Sansera Engineering ended over 1 per cent higher at Rs 1,360, apiece on the NSE.

Sansera Engineering Limited, a midcap firm with a m-cap of 8.44k crore is a technology-driven manufacturer specializing in precision-engineered components for both automotive and non-automotive industries. It focuses on producing forged and machined parts used in a wide range of applications, including passenger vehicles, two-wheelers, commercial vehicles, aerospace, off-road vehicles, and agricultural machinery.
