JSW MG Motor India on Monday announced its decision to pass on the benefit of the government’s GST 2.0 rate cuts to its customers. The carmaker — whose popular models in India include Astor and Hector — rolled out the GST-driven price revisions across its ICE SUV lineup.
While extending the entire benefit of the lower GST rates, JSW MG Motor India said the rates weill apply to ICE models as well as their spare parts and accessories.

The auto maker said that the revised prices will lead to savings ranging from Rs 54,000 to Rs 3,04,000.

The revisions came into effect immediately, said the carmaker.

Welcoming the Centre’s move to rationalise GST rates, JSW MG Motor India Chief Commercial Officer Vinay Raina said the step directly supports car buyers by enhancing their purchasing power and fostering positive consumer sentiment.
“By passing on the full benefit of this reform to our customers, JSW MG Motor aims to make its SUV portfolio – comprising of Astor, Hector, and Gloster – even more accessible and attractive,” he said.
The GST 2.0 reform also reinforces the company’s commitment to delivering value, promoting easier ownership and encouraging more customers to experience its brand as demand strengthens ahead of the festive season, added Raina.

The auto maker also said that MG Gloster customers can avail additional benefits worth up to Rs 3,50,000.
The company also offered attractive financing options, including 100 per cent on-road funding and a three-month EMI holiday.

JSW MG Motor India is a joint venture between SAIC Motor and JSW Group.
JSW MG Motor India currently offers a range of vehicles in the country, including the MG Astor, the MG Hector (6- and 7-seated variants) and the MG Gloster in the ICE segment.
The auto maker also offers the MG Comet and MG Windsor EVs.
