 Mahindra & Mahindra, an Indian automobile company, is expanding its electric vehicle portfolio by launching the XEV 9e. This is an all-electric luxury coupe-SUV that is likely to make its mark in the rapidly expanding electric vehicle market in India.
Design and Dimensions
The Mahindra XEV 9e is designed to be sleek and modern, with a coupe-SUV silhouette. Its dimensions are considerable, measuring 4,789 mm in length, 1,907 mm in width, and 1,694 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,775 mm. This model includes a fast-charging package where, for DC fast charging at 175 kW, this can charge the battery pack from 20% up to 80% within around 20 minutes. The dashboard is dominated by three 12.3-inch screens that act as the instrument cluster, infotainment system, and a dedicated passenger display. It is also expected to pack in a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system for an immersive audio experience. The vehicle is scheduled for a global debut on November 26, 2024, and deliveries are expected to start in early 2025.
